An interactive image database for use by Harvard researchers to decipher an ancient language. A giant image database of ancient artifacts adorned with a hieroglyphic language was used by archaeologists to find patterns in the language. The hope was that through the use of this tool, connections between symbols, either by proximity or similarity, would aid an academic team of experts in the deciphering of this currently unknown language. The artifacts were from the Indus valley in India, and date back before the time of the written word. This is one of the last examples of a language that to this day is still completely undecipherable.
